Bedtime Banana Tea

Have you been having trouble sleeping lately? I read about the benefits that bananas have on sleep. They are high in magnesium, potassium, and are natural muscle- relaxants.  Bananas taste amazing and they have so many reasons to eat and now.. drink! Give this a try about an hour before you go to sleep… you will be amazed, trust me.

Be sure to:

Make 1 hour before bed

– AND-

Drink when you are ready for bed… don’t drink it and go finish your work around the house… drink it and RELAX. DON’T play on your phone. DON’T watch TV…. just “be”.

Ingredients:

boiling water

cinnamon

1 banana

honey (optional)

How to:

Boil water

Add banana (cut off ends and slice down middle… LEAVE ON SKIN)

Sprinkle in some cinnamon

Boil for 10-15 minutes… Enjoy!
