Crock Pot Stew

Busy mornings call for CROCK POT RECIPES! Here is a recipe for a delicious beef stew that you can actually dump in your crock pot and leave for work. There’s not much to prep the night before and that makes this super simple.

Ingredients:

2 cups frozen peas

2 cubes beef bouillon

1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

1.5 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon thyme

1 bay leaf

4 cups cubed potatoes

2 cups chopped carrots

2 tablespoons tomato paste

4 cups beef broth

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 teaspoons salt

2.5 cups chopped onion

3.5 lbs beef stew meat

Directions:

*Prep this the night before: cut meat into smaller pieces, onions, carrots, potatoes, garlic

1.Spray crock pot with cooking spray to prevent sticking

2.(LITERALLY) Add ALL ingredients EXCEPT for frozen peas…. Mix together

3.Cook on low for 7-8 hours

4.Remove the bay leaf

5.Add peas about 15 minutes before serving

6.For a thicker stew, combine 2 tablespoons water with arrowroot starch in a small bowl

7.Add mixture to stew 20 minutes before serving (mix well)
