Oreo Milkshake

OREO (1)

Who doesn’t love an ice cold milkshake on a hot summer day? I LOVE making homemade milkshakes and so does my family! This easy milkshake only takes about 3-5 minutes to make and tastes SO good! My first job was working at a local Ice Cream place, so trust me when I say I can make a delicious shake! I was so excited when I was hired for my first job, except coming home with ice cream all over my work clothes 😉 My favorite part of working at an Ice Cream place was the happiness on every child’s face when I handed them their ice cream order! Their smiles were priceless! It was also fun coming up with different combinations of shakes and other treats that I can’t wait to share with you in future posts! For now, lets focus on the OREO MILKSHAKE!!

For this yummy shake you will need milk: Oreos, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream & chocolate syrup!

First, get out your blender! I have a Food Ninja that lets you make it in a one serving cup which is always nice! I LOVE the Ninja for making smoothies to 🙂 It makes the task of making milkshakes and smoothies so easy! I could talk about my love for my Food Ninja, but I won’t for now!

Next, put in your ingredients. For a one person serving put about 3 scoops of ice cream, 3 oreos, a half a cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup! Then blend it up!

When your done blending, you want the texture of your shake to be a little thicker. If it seems thin add some more ice cream (and vice versa).

Last, pour your shake into a cup, spray whipped cream on top of your shake and add an Oreo on top to garnish!
