“Sprinkle” Baby Shower

SPRINKLE (1)

Looking to have a small baby shower for a friend, family member or co-worker? Throw her a SPRINKLE SHOWER!

My classroom team and some of the other teachers in the school decided to throw another teacher a small shower. We all pitched in about $10 dollars to put the shower together. We also each brought in a delicious breakfast item and had a mini-brunch in before the kids came! I made the following items for the sprinkle shower: “Mom” & “Dad” mugs, Mommy Survival Kit, Diaper Cake, a cute baby basket & Other random gifts

“Mom” & “Dad” Mugs

The mugs were SO easy to make. The only supplies you need are mugs and a sharpie! I bought the mugs from good ole’ Target for $1.99 (You can buy them from wherever your heart desires!). You then need to wash the mugs in hot water and let dry. Then comes the fun part! Take a Sharpie and write your text on the mug. If you do not do well writing free-handed, I suggest using stencils (Michael’s Craft Stores & JoAnn Fabrics always has cute options!). Then you put your fabulous mugs on a baking sheet and cook for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees! Then take them out of the oven and let them cool! Super easy!!

Mommy Survival Kit

This kit was super simple! It is so important to think about mommy to! I picked up this cute pale (it had a mint color on the inside!) from the Target dollar section for $2.00!

I then stuffed the pale with tissue paper! I went to the $1 pharmacy section and the food/candy section and bought the following mommy essential items: wet ones, tide-to-go, instant coffee packs, M&M’s, Snickers, lotion, hand sanitizer, Chapstick, mints and of course, Advil! Once you fill up the pail, you put on a tag and write “Mommy Survival Kit”!!

Diaper Cake

The baby cake looks a lot more difficult than it was to make!! You will need tall plastic baby bottles (or a bottle of wine!), baby sign, ribbon, shredded paper, a box of diapers and plenty of rubber bands!!! I took pictures of the steps! I am a visual learner and figured this was much easier!

Before I start the steps, I bought my baby sign in the Target Dollar Section for $1!!

Here are the picture steps to make the baby cake!

And that is all!!!

I just bought cute baby things like a blankets, clothing and wipes and put them in a cute reusable basket and a bag! I tried to keep everything with the mint color to make it consistent!!!
