Who doesn’t love a fresh salad on a hot summer day? This salad is an easy recipe to follow and a tasty one at that!
1 packet of taco seasoning
Shredded 4 cheeses Mexican cheese
2 cooking pans (one to cook the meat & one to cook the veggies)
1. Place the raw ground turkey meat on a cooking pan and let it cook until all of the meat is brown.
2.Cut up the cucumber and onion.
3. Heat the pan with 1-2 tbsp of oil
4.Place the veggies on the pan and season with salt and pepper. (to taste) Allow the veggies to cook until they are golden brown or until they are cooked down to your liking. Make sure to continue to stir the veggies continuously while you are prepping and preparing the other ingredients for this salad.
5.Once the ground turkey is cooked, drain and then place back on the pan. Add the taco seasoning mix (follow the directions provided on the packet)
6.Allow the seasoning and meat mix together and place on a low medium heat.
7.Prep the romaine lettuce. Wash the lettuce with cold water and pat dry. Cut the lettuce into smaller pieces. Place the lettuce in a large salad bowl.
8.Wash 2 tomatoes and pat dry. Cut into small cubes pieces. Add to the salad bowl.
9.Cut the avocados in half and take out the pit. Cut the avocados into small cubes. (I use a spoon to scoop them out after) Add to the salad bowl.
10.Add 1/2 a cup of shredded cheese to the salad bowl.
11.When the veggies are ready, take the veggies off the heat. Add to the salad bowl.
12.Take the ground turkey of the heat. Add to the salad bowl.
You can use your choice of salad dressing for this salad. 🙂
Mix all of your ingredients in the salad bowl and enjoy!!!
